Decent portable storage in a small form factor and a pretty fair price. I don't recommend it for professional use as this model does not have a particularly rugged outer shell and Western Digital makes no mention that the drive is shock resistant - so don't drop it!!

The WD easystore 4TB portable hard drive is a nice portable drive with a small form factor. It's nice to have this amount of storage in a portable device.

Needed a portable HD. Western Digital has always performed well for me. This HD was on sale for just over $100.00 for 4TB. Great deal.

Love this storage device, easy to use and setup, reliable, great price for 4TB drive. Have four of them to back up 4k video and high res photos.

I don't have a lot of experience with external storage devices to serve as much of a comparison. However, this drive has plenty of storage space and is pretty easy to use. It's also good at prompting you when a back-up is overdue. I use it with my Mac Book Pro.

Portable and no power needed except USB. Great for backing up files and making files portable. Got it on deal of the day so the price was GREAT.

I brought this hard drive for back up all my pictures and all necessary files , it does the job but a little slow not too fast for the decent price, the drive capacity is good, but the USB cable is a little too short, other than that, it does the job as advertised.

Purchased as a gift for my son but have heard of no issues with this hard drive so far. Great value for a large amount of storage in a small package.

It is a good size and you want to have the USB only drives, being a 3.0 and copies pretty fast and also avoid the AC power drives, those can have issues

I strongly recommend purchasing the WD - easystore® 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black or Red to back up files. It's also easy to transport.

Great and happy that it works with Xbox One and found as the lowest cost external drive to use with Xbox One and it doesn't need additional power.

For the cost it’s good had no problem waiting to get another’s one

This drive was so easy to setup and use, truly plug and play and the size is great, I liked it so much I got another one and I use both for a media server

I purchased the Easystore 4 Tb external drive for use with Xbox One to save games. As with any external hard drive not explicitly for Xbox, I had to reformat to use to store games. This reformat process worked flawlessly. I was then able to move all my installed games and saved files to this new drive. This took some time, but was no longer than expected. I just about doubled my previous storage. It works well and is quicker than the internal storage upon use. Of course, as it is not SSD, it is not as fast as SSD, but that is to be expected. Great value for the price.

So far so good. I'm still work on figuring it out.

I needed this in order to save my computer. Lack of storage crashed it.

I love the compact size and portability of this 4Tb WD drive. And with 4Tb of storage, you can store thousands (millions) of Hi-Res photos. EXCELLENT!!

Bought on sale for extra storage. I use for time machine backup as well as offloading larger files from my cameras. No concerns w reliability so far
