Bought this drive to hook up to my PS4 and download games from online. Works just like I thought it would. No problems and I don't have to put a disc in now whenever I change games. It's all right there and I can even take it with me.

This is actually the 2nd WD - Easystore 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black that I have purchased in the last 30 days. The drive is very easy to use, transfers are quick and the footprint isn't very large. I use one to backup my computer and another to backup all my pictures separately from my computer backup. Highly recommend this drive. $99 for 4 TB is hard to beat. Even if it wasn't on sale, the price is decent enough.

I use multiple backup units including WD and Seagate. I've only once had a portable drive die and it was a Seagate...hence the multiple backup units. This was a great price on sale and could't pass it up.

What more can I say, the HDD is self powered over USB and windows 10 recognizes right away. Great for backups or storage.

This was an awesome deal, couldn't beat the price anywhere and the drive has worked great for over a year now.

I do a lot of traveling with video production and I need many drives to hold all the data. This WD portable drive has the speed, capacity and portability that I need. It has also proved very durable and it often gets knocked about in overhead bins on airplanes. I've owned several other branded drives but have had issues with them. I've yet to have a problem with the WD drives, so I can't say anything about their customer service since I've never had the cause the call them.

can't be beat for $100.00. easy to set up for use as backup drive.

I really loved the amount of space on this HDD but when using it for pc gaming, it wasnt that great. I put alot of games from Steam on it and it had a lot of trouble running most of them. Also, the load times were awful.

Haven't used it yet, but couldn't beat the sale price $79 for 4T.
