    Was easy to convert to Mac iOS, and the speed in transfer was great as well, especially when transferring 20 GB

    Ripped my CD collection to a WD usb 3.0 4TB drive. I bought this USB powered 4 TB drive to copy it as a backup. Too much time put into ripping those CD's for me to be willing to risk losing all that work. Later I will buy another one of these USB powered 4 TB drives to mirror the other. I've always had good luck with WD. I never use the included software. I reformat the drive (quick) and start using.

    Installed it 2 days ago. Transferred to it over 700 Gig. All worked well, so far. Virus checked it, no problems. It is quiet and fast. Did not heat up, which is good.
