Really like the size of the gadget. Made it easy for transporting. The amount of storage space was perfect for my needs.

I have several of these and bought this one for my sister to replace a similar one of a different brand that is failing after 3 months. I have never had one of these fail.

I needed additional storage and it to be mobile. This was not only all of those but super fast

Works well. I used the disk for archival storage by backing up the family NAS and storing the disk in a bank safety deposit box. The disk is small enough to fit in the smallest safety deposit box, so family pictures and other data can be protected for very little cost.

Price is great for 4TB storage because a 64gb as card could took $40. Hope it doing well.

I recently had an update that corrupted my hard drive on an older laptop. Fortunately I had a backup that saved my data. I purchased this new external hard drive to have an additional backup since my older one was failing. Installed it 2 days ago. Transferred to it over 700 Gig. All worked well, so far. Virus checked it, no problems. It is quiet and fast. Did not heat up, which is good.

Got this on Black Friday for $80 which is a steal. Had to search for it though cause it said sold out online and in store but found 2 hidden in store behind a 1 tb drive.

This is a backup to my back up! Love the storage amount and the size and speed.

I had no problem setting up this new WD back up external drive. So far, (about one week's work of activity) it is working very well. It does not organize the material saved as well as I would like but as long as I can find copies of everything in case of some computer disaster or to take with me on my travels, that will be sufficient.

This backup drive was big enough to partition and VERY easy to setup for use with BOTH Mac & PC. Also easier to use regularly since it draws power from the computer rather than from AC power cord.

Best Buy does it again! In an effort to easy Black Friday shopping they reduce prices and I was in the market for a 4tb portable external HD. I have been using this drive for 4 months now and haven't put a dent into the total storage space. The drive perform flawlessly! It's quick & quiet and allows me to back up important contact from my desktop and 2 laptop computer. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
