Ready to be used, lot's of space and good performance. I plan to have 2 of these to do backups of my systems and data.

After using a USB 2.0 1TB drive for a while I felt it was time to get something bigger. The WD - easystore® 4TB USB 3.0 Drive is great. Sure I have only used 1½ TB so far, but believe me, it's not for lack of trying. I have plenty of files to backup but they barely put a dent in the 4TB capacity. USB 3.0 is fantastic for quickly accessing and backing up. All that and it's not much bigger than my 1TB was. What a deal!

It has a lot of storage which I need. Easy to set up and use for beginners or anyone. It’s light weight. Love this external hard drive!

For portable hard drives I have never had a problem with WD. I use this as a storage drive with a 250G ssd on my computer. Great combo. Great pricing on 4G portable drive too.

A hdd that write it's own checks, in all categories, easy installation, speed, performance, and reliability. You can't ask more for a hdd that's external and 4tbs cheap. Normally cost another 40-60 bucks. Still have it working great.

This is a small hard drive with lots of storage capacity and not too pricey. Very nice to keep all your memories safe and small enough to put in a firebox for safe keeping.

I bought this external hdd to increase the woefully small hdd that is built into the Xbox One. I got tired of having to delete games in order to install a new one. I only own 9 games, but they are all huge games like Gears of War 4, Fallout 4 and Halo MCC. Installing this hdd is a snap. Just turn on your Xbox first, let it completely boot up and then plug in the hdd with the supplied usb cable. Your Xbox should recognize the device and ask if you want to format it which only takes several seconds and your done! It really is as simple as that. Now go ahead and install all your games that you had to delete like I did.

I bought the 1tb version about two years ago as an external drive for my Xbox. Paid just as much then as I did for this 4tb model. Works great as a game drive for my Xbox.
