Great price for the size! Got this on a sale. Western Digital devices are highly reliable

This hard drive is super easy to use and has tons of space.

Small hard drive, storage capacity is very large.My photo video can be stored using it.

I got two of these at a great price. One for my PS4 and one for my PC. Works great with both.

Quite fast and low power. Using it for digital movie and TV storage Works very well. This is the second HD like this I've bought - mainly because the first works so well.

I bought 6 of these drives because they have stable tranfer speed about 95MB/sec. They do not require extra power source to play with media player or TV player as well.

The external disk works very well. Just plug and play. It has as huge storage capacity but in a small package size. Same size as smaller capacity disk but just a bit thicker.

This is my review of WD - easystore® 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black. I was so pleased to get this during a daily deal sale. I use a WD 2TB and a Toshiba 1TB external portable hard drive and I love, love, love them both. I researched WD and was pleased with the high ratings on several independent sites...so I jumped on the chance to pick up this one. . I purchased it to keep on the shelf as a back-up to the back-up since no hard drive is going to last forever. But we've decided to use it now to back up video games, and I can still put it into service when my 6 year old WD eventually says "I'm done". The quick loading speed comes in very handy since I do frequent back-ups. I also recommend getting a good, sturdy zippered case to hold it if you are going to take it with you anywhere. I have 1 sturdy case and splurged on one waterproof sturdy case (Lacdo). Be aware where you 'put' them during uploads/downloads as these puppies do get very warm. So I wouldn't leave them zipped up inside the case with the cord sticking out for example (during data transfer, that is). The usb cord is very sturdy, too by the way.

I bought this to transfer games from my Xbox one to my Xbox one x and use it for extra storage space for my games. The transfer was fast and worked without any problems.

I run this drive from a powered USB port, no electric plug required. It has 4TB but the drive would fit in the back pocket of a pair of jeans. I haven't checked the speed of read/write but it is USB 3 and works fast enough for me. It doesn't seem to get too warm with use. I have several of these WD drives and I've had good service from them.

Seems to work well thus far. I originally purchased 2 of these. One to use with my Xbox One S & one to use with my Dell laptop. I returned the one for my Xbox One S because though its game load speeds were comparable, it was a bit slower than my WD My Passport Ultra I purchased a couple years back (The old version). I decided to keep the one for my laptop and it is working well thus far. I had to configure it in disk management before I was able to use it though (I don't know whether this is because I had originally formatted it for Xbox One or is a requirement from the start). Overall I am happy with this drive. It looks nice, performs fairly well, and for $100 isn't bad at all.

Bought this to expand the number of games I can keep locally for instant access. It works flawlessly and game load times are similar to those on the internal hard drive.

It was on sale, 4TB for that price could not be passed up and WD has been good to me so far.

Solid drive with installable backup software for those that want it (I deleted it). Nice USB-C support.
