Works as it's supposed to. It has large storage and is easy to plug and play.

I got this drive to store large media files on my Mac Mini. It found the drive when I plugged it in, however could not save files. I tried formatting it using drive utility and it made it unreadable. Had to use command line tools to reformat but it eventually did allow me to write on my mac.

This product is wonderful. Easy to set up and use for both MAC and PC. Formatting is a bit difficult the first time through - but you can repeat it until you get it correct. Once done with that setup, it works like a charm. Powered by its own USB connection, it is easily portable - about the size of a deck of cards. Easy and a good idea to use this as external back up storage.

Western Digital are all my go-to hard drive choices. This was on super-sale for Black friday and couldnt resist. I've been using WD for many years without issue.

Have lost data before so I love the ease of mind of having an extra backup hard drive. Data transfer is also very fast

I went shopping for a large external HD to back up my videos, and the WD Easy Store 4TB fits the bill (in addition to being priced right). However, the first one I bought was dead on arrival at home. Best Buy had no problem with returning it, and they managed to find one more of it. I swapped for the new one, got it home, and have been very satisfied ever since. I would suggest that, if possible, you take yours to the Geek Squad desk and have them verify that it works. Assuming that it isn't "after hours" they should be able to accommodate you. I can't rate it a 5 due to the first drive, but the second one is chugging right along (and it is a USB3 connection).

We got this to expand the storage for our Xbox One. It was so easy just plug & play!

I simply plugged it into my PS4, chose the reformat option, and within 10 minutes, I had already moved a 40 GB game onto it. My original PS4 is now about 4.5 TB.

I have had the drive for about 2 months and use it to hold nightly backups of my Windows 10 PC. It is easy to install, just plug in the USB cable (included) and install the software. There is a backup program provided by WD but I just use the Windows backup. The drive is powered by the USB port so there is no external power supply or power plug. I have not had any problems with the drive.

Excellent Performance. Plenty of storage (4 TBs). A good bang for the bucks.

This HD is real easy to use as it is plug and play! Comes with a lot of storage also.

Purchased this to upgrade the memory on my Xbox One. At under $80 for 4 TB I couldn't pass it up (pre black friday sales). Works great, would highly recommend.
