    Currently I’m still using this drive after months of use with no issues. Although it’s not that expensive of a drive, it does function fairly well. I sync my cloud drives to this device so that I have my photos and videos locally to work on, but have them synced online in case the drive does end up failing at some point.

    Husband needs this for additional external storage. The data transfers quickly and this has great capacity with 4TG. Great for storing important documents and pictures if you don't want to store them in the cloud. Also great for travel to store all of those pictures!

    Bought these to back up my photos (2 copies of each). I used these to replace some external drives that used external power supplies that were starting to fail. I really like that they are USB-powered and a lot smaller than my previous drives. They do seem to heat up, but I only use them as I do the actual backup.

    I needed to back up the files from my server, I needed 10tb total, this and some older drives I already had got me covered. This drive was quick and quiet. I did think I might have gotten a bad one at first because I got what sounded like the "click of death". The thing about a USB3.0 drive is the power required is a bit higher than some of the older legacy ports can provide. When I plug it into a blue or red, 2.0 or 3.0 port everything is hunky dory. I think the problem some folks have with newer drives might be related to this.
