Very good HDD. Lots of space in a portable package

Bought this for my PS4. Easy format and within seconds I was able to download my entire library of games into this HDD.

Seems to be working great but the instructions for using on a MAC were less than adequate. Backups working normally and automatically in Time Machine now after calling Tech Support.

This is my third WD Passport and I keep coming back to them cause they're affordable and functional. I have over 500 full length movies at 1080p with still lots of room to spare. Needless to say, I needed another one to back up my back up. If you need an external hard drive, this is the one. Highly recommend.

Love all the space, but the software is touchy. Sometimes it launches, and sometimes it doesn't. When it does, it does work well.

Easy to "plug and play". Was able to quickly back up what I needed and move on.

Hard drive in my 2-in-1 computer was dying -- Bernadette of the Geek Squad suggested buying this hard drive and sending it with the hard drive from the computer to their data center to try and save all my files and information. We also bought one for my husbands computer because of the large capacity

This is probably "straight out of the box" disappointment, but the software that installs along with the drive is a little disappointing. I have not yet gotten the backup scheduling software that installs from this external hard drive to work on Windows 10, and my Windows 7 machine (2gb) would not run the software at all. The external drivew works fine with the software scheduled IN WINDOWS 7 and WINDOWS 10 (the Start,Windows system,Control panel,System and security option) that includes a backup option. But I'll keep playing with it.

Western Digital is the best external hard drive (IMHO)! I recommend them to all of my friends and so far no complaints.

This device works as it should....what can I say....buy it use it and have a great day!

Great Price, and a lot more memory downside takes forever to transfer items to it. I would recommend it for the price and space alone.

This is a great hard drive that I got at a great price. The software that comes with makes automatic backups a breeze.

Best hard drive and got it for cheap and stored a lot of documents

Works exactly what is what intended for. The best part of it is that it doesn't use a seperate power cord like others.

Only 4 stars so far because I just purchased it. Using to back up a Mac computer. Directions could’ve a bit better for Mac users but sufficient enough. Purchased because my parents just had their HP crash and they lost everything.
