Storage solutions keep getting larger

The up side is this WD can hold a tremendous amount of data, the down side is if it were to get damaged. Cloud storage is one solution for a backup but the price of this 4TB unit is affordable to have a second unit as a backup.

We also bought one for my husbands computer because of the large capacity

Easy to use and small enough to take with you

Take it out of the box, plug it into your PC and you're ready to copy files. Or, if you want to use it to automatically back up your files, install the WD Discovery software (already on the drive) and easily set up when you want to back up your important files.

Large drive, software touchy

Wish it was faster than 5400rpm

Affordable & Functional

I have over 500 full length movies at 1080p with still lots of room to spare. Needless to say, I needed another one to back up my back up. If you need an external hard drive, this is the one. Highly recommend.
