    This is probably "straight out of the box" disappointment, but the software that installs along with the drive is a little disappointing. I have not yet gotten the backup scheduling software that installs from this external hard drive to work on Windows 10, and my Windows 7 machine (2gb) would not run the software at all. The external drivew works fine with the software scheduled IN WINDOWS 7 and WINDOWS 10 (the Start,Windows system,Control panel,System and security option) that includes a backup option. But I'll keep playing with it.

    I transfer all the files from three different externals Hard Drive into that. I use it as a backup if my laptop has crashed down at any time. I know my files will be safe in this hard drive and will not worry about it. It is wonderful to use it for the artist; graphic design and photography!

    Only 4 stars so far because I just purchased it. Using to back up a Mac computer. Directions could’ve a bit better for Mac users but sufficient enough. Purchased because my parents just had their HP crash and they lost everything.

    I am not that good with electronics, but I needed to remove some of my pictures from my phone. The process was easy and I was able to clear up a lot of space on my phone. My husband wants one now.
