I needed the adapter since I am running a Mac Mini M1. This external drive runs silently, unlike my others which make a whirring sound when the internal disks are spinning. The build seems solid enough and I hope it performs better than my last portable drive (not WD brand), which died suddenly and I lost all of my important work files.

Definitely an Easy Drive to use

I DJ wedding receptions and parties and I have developed a very large My music library is pushing 3TB and this little drive has given me plenty of breathing room and future library space. I also like that it runs from the power of the USB 3.0 connection. Fewer cables to carry and connect at gigs. I love the performance so far.

All working without error. The only option I wish they had was to be supplied with a USB-C cable but small adapters are available so its no big thing. Reliability is whats important and so far they have been.

This is a good investment if you have photos, documents, etc. that you don’t want to take up space. Easy to transfer to and from the external hard drive. Can fit in your backpack and doesn’t take up space. A must have!

You can't ask more for a hdd that's external and 4tbs cheap. Normally cost another 40-60 bucks. Still have it working great.
