This gets 4 stars only because this is not the pocket model. It will do what I need. Nowhere in the description did they mention this was the desktop model. It was a great daily deal.

Got this for Gaming PC and it run great for Secondary Storage. Recommend having a USB 3.0 Available for full transfer speed.

I only purchased this 4 TB (actual size less, of course) model because I needed storage space for some 4k video files at work and it was on sale. It's a basic plastic encased hard drive that won't win any awards for transfer speed. Hasn't failed yet... crossing fingers. If you need a drive for professional work and not a temp solution, then I would look at Lacie or another rugged unit designed for heavy use.

Get it hooked it up had the download a new driver that was the hardest thing I've had to do with it took maybe 5 minutes plugged in-and-in again it was so easy I didn't even believe it I personally do not leave my and plugged in to my pc but I believe you can if you want to

Bought the drive to do backups to store in a remote location. I formatted it for Mac OS. No problems. Just works!

Have used these for years. Transfer is fast. Great to use as backups and then put away like a DVD. Have some way over 10yrs and still works to get the data. Backup on at least 3 removable devices.

Great little HD with blazing speed. This is my 10th WD drive. The packaging changes but the quality is the same.

So far has been really working great! Using it to transfer some video files from another failing external hard drive. Will actually need to get another at some point, so will probably return back to this one!

This is an excellent portable HD. Works on Xbox and PC. Did not have a PS4 but I presume it works. Great price.

I purchased this because I got tired of constantly deleting games off of my Xbox to make room for new ones. I’ve had this for a couple of years now and haven’t had to delete anything since. Never had a single issue with it either. Great investment if you’re a gamer with a lot of games!
