I like this hard drive very much. Its reading rate is pretty fast, and it's very nice to have it at this price.

Bought this a while back and have been writing my Shadowplay, OBS, and AMD reLive content directly to it without issues. Have easily written close to 30-40TB of content since I only keep the finished videos after currently sitting at 2.5TB available.

Just what the "Dr" ordered ...able to take my entire hard drive with me on trips.

Fast USB3.0. Light weight. Just plug in and start using. No Issue at all.

I always travel with two portable 2TB Western Drives. I now travel with two portable 4TB Western drives. The new drives take up the same space as the early drives but have twice the data storage. I need storage that is fast and dependable. That is why I can always depend on Western Digital products.

Seems like a nice unit but I haven't really put it to use yet.

The hard drive physical size is about my old WD 2TB size, but feels faster and of course double of the capacity

This 4 GB drive replaces my old 2 GB drive, which was nearing full. System would not simply transfer files from old drive to new, so I performed a backup of the old drive onto the new, then disconnected the old. I now use this drive with the "backup" files on my laptop the same as I previously used the old one.

Awesome external hard drive for any professional on the go, or a home office, or just about any other reason you can imagine. TONS of extra hard-drive space with fast 3.0 access. And like so many have come to realize, the name alone, WD, stands for the quality and excellence it has continually given. Recommended!

Great hard drive. No problems at all so far and would buy again

the 500gb my xbox 1 s came with went pretty fast. this 4tb drive allows you to install the big 50gb+ games and leave them on the external storage rather than have to keep uninstalling to free up space. I have 100 plus games installed and still have a tb available. this is a must have for any xb1 owner.

Bought this 4 TB HD for my Xbox One X to store my entire game library (115 games- Xbox One games and 360 games). I still have another 700gb left over plus the 1TB system HD free. I should be able to fit roughly 150 games on both the system HD and this 4TB HD combined. And no issues thus far.

It runs my files fine, and there is little to no delay, so I recommend it. I got it on sale, so I even better.

The external Hard Drive, is working pretty well, the size of it is a plus, due the portability. I'm very glad to have purchased.

Cannot beat the storage space for the price. Works perfectly for my Xbox One X as the external storage for it.

I bought this for my daughter to store her many photos on. I was told that it was plug and play on her MAC Air and would only need to format it if she wanted to backup her system (Time Machine). Well, we could not do anything with it once unboxing the device and plugging it in. Had to return to the store and talk to the Apple people who showed her how to format the drive and then after returning home it appeared to work fine and she was able to transfer her photos to the external drive.

This is one of the first 4TB small external drives that I have seen. It seems to have reasonable performance and the price was good.

Great for backups of multiple drives and computers. 4TB is enough to back up my desktop with multiple drives and my work laptop. Being able to have the external drive unplugged from the computer with my back ups is peace of mind from a major power surge which had happened to me in the past.
