    I bought this for my XBOX One o move all my games from internal to external drive. It works fast and perfect, I store all my games on it now and it doesn’t take any space from my internal Xbox Hard drive. I would buy one for my PS4 soon.

    shopped a few different. liked the size and sale price for this. plugged into PS4, quick format which PS4 did once plugged into USB port, copied game files and set for new games to be downloaded to external drive...plenty of space on PS4 again.

    My old back up drive ceased functioning. Best Buy staff helped me choose a replacement and configure it for MAC OS. The rest was easy. We always find them helpful. We also got prices on TpLink plugs for Echo and a new Paperwhite Kindle.

    As do many people, I have this external hard drive to back up my large files because Macbooks still come with SSDs about 2GB these days. It does what it's supposed to do, with quick copying speeds and easy to connect and use.

    I purchased this to take a full backup of my server which it did successfully. I tested and the server image was there. The issue is it took 3 days to backup so the write speed seems kind of low. Also a couple of weeks ago Western Digital/Microsoft recommended not leaving connected to your network permanently because of an exploit. I took the backup and removed so it wasn't too bad.
