I used this external to put all my games in since I kept having to buy usb drivers that ran out of space quickly so I decided to get this and so far I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Still have lots of space for more games!

It was a no brainer to buy this to help with storage of media that is too big for my laptop and mobile devices to handle. I had a 250GB years ago that was rock solid throughout its entire usage, and this is a major step up in size obviously...

Amazing amount of storage for the price. A few years ago I bought a 1 TB external portable hard drive that was way more expensive, so this buy was a steal. I guess you could call it a best buy! Also, the files do transfer extremely fast.

Plugged this into my Xbox One (not the One S) and it automatically asked if I wanted to use it for apps and storage. Once I said "yes", the Xbox handled it perfectly. This is a great solution for expanding Xbox One storage!!

When I saw the price of the drive I had to buy it. As a mobile tech, I was looking for a portable drive that would allow me to backup customer's devices, without having to worry about space. This drive has not failed me.

Well this certainly fits the bill. I had outgrown my 2TB drive and 4TB seems more than adequate. Took a while to backup but now that it is done, I'm hoping updates won't take that long. I keep this unplugged when not in use.

This is the 3rd one I have purchased on sale at Best Buy to add onto a new PS4 system as a external storage unit. Works great. Goes well with the 2 TB WD Hard drive I installed in place of the internal 500GB drive that came with the PS4.

I filled up the stogage on my Mac after owning it for 8 years. I moved all my pix off of it 200 GB I will now have a two 4TB backup rotation to backup my Mac and a two 1 TB to backup my pix. I rotate each in my safety deposit box.

We had searched for a long time to find a external hard drive that had great reviews that stood up and was a great value. We finally found it and have very pleased with its performance for the price we paid.

What can I say, my new 4TB drive is AWESOME.... At around $100 , you can't go wrong with this attached to your PS4. Just plug it into the USB port and your PS4 will now have an extra 4TB for ALL those new games.... PERFECT DRIVE !!

i love WD i have purchase this brand for many years i take a lot of pictures and WD never disappoints for space / storage. the hard case is well built and i am not worried about careless drops.

Great drive to have as a attached extension to your laptop. Has USB 3.0 with decent speeds for a 5400RPM drive. You cannot "shuck" this drive as this does not have any SATA connectors to be used on a motherboard. I would NOT recommend this as a backup drive since if the USB enclosure were the fail, you would need to source another one to get the data off.

Got it at a great price and use it for my extended storage on my ps4.
