I use this device to back up my entire Windows 10 system, files and operating system. I also load pictures and files manually to doubly protect some of the data that is critical.

This hard drive is definitely great for data storage and transfer, it's more than enough to keep your files. I used it to store my steam games, and it has no problem starting games, it loads up slow, but there are no lose frames.

A lot of memory on this hard drive. I got it for my Xbox one and have over 90 games installed with a little under 2 terabytes free. I got it last Black Friday 70 bucks for 4 tb. Will buy another one this Black Friday.

It took a few tries to format the hard drive for my new MacBook Pro and I wasn't able to set up the password protect yet (I'll be heading over to the Geek Squad soon) but it was a great deal for the amount of storage. I was originally only going to get the one terabyte hard drive but for only $40 more it made sense to quadruple that and not have to buy another external hard drive anytime soon.

great little storage device, I like the fact that it doesn't need its own power supply and has a 4TB capacity. It works very well for what it is used for, with pretty decent transfer rates.

Great drive with a large capacity. I did have to take it to bestbuy to have it reformatted for my MAC. They took about 10 mins and now it works perfectly.

It was about twenty years 1997 i paid about 300 for a 300 megabit drive ($1 a meg). So here i get a 4 TB drive on sale at $90 or $22.5 per TB which is something even cheaper than $00.0000225 per meg which is $ .0225 per Gig

I have a couple of these. Never had a problem connecting any of them. It's slightly slower than external drives with their own power source, but not enough to be concerned about. This is a great drive for laptos
