It is a great drive.. in-spite of its size (4TB) it is still quite slim and reasonably light. Had it for a few months by now.. works great. Gets hot when in use, but not too bad. Read/write speed is also good.

Good storage at a reasonable price. Using the drive to store large video files, the read and write times are reasonable for this purpose. The physical drive itself also has a good design with rounded corners.

Got the drive quickly after ordering. Easy to set up and backup my hard drive. More than enough room for all my files and 4TB allows for great future expansion. No problems in the couple of weeks I have had it.

I needed an external mega hard drive to store my computer's data and this fits my bill. After the initial lengthy backup the continuing updated backups only add what hasn't been backed up yet.

I bought this to use on my home network for backups. I plugged it in to my router and was immediately able to browse to it. I set my backups to use this drive and haven't had any problems. It was a good choice.

Western digital has really improved this product compared to the earlier versions. Exterior quality is better and is much more compact and beautiful now. Works like a charm to copy data back and forth.

great portable hard drive with more capacity......

This fit perfectly for my application over the fireplace with a lower mantle around 5 feet off the ground. The tv, a 65 inch LG B8 OLED, is mounted at 5.5 feet, so I needed a mount that would tilt down to the proper angle. For those of you with a higher installation: The degree of tilt is limited but I believe I could raise the tv another half foot and still achieve a good viewing angle. It is sturdy and comes with the appropriate hardware to attach solidly to the wall. It has a variety of additional hardware for attaching the tv; therefore, if you are missing the screws/bolts that come with your tv, rest assured the mount will come with a replacement that will most likely fit. Finally, the mount when compared to other common big box options is fairly shallow, which was important to me because I wanted the tv to stick out from the wall as much as possible. And it doeas a good job for a mount that does also allow tilting. I would estimate the tv sticks out about 1.5 to 2 inches from the wall.

It's very good hard drive, work well and very fast

WD has always been a good drive maker name. This one fits the bill also, lightweight and portability is key for me. I use it to backup my WD mycloud and it's in use in my vehicle for music streaming. Only downside for me is it's not a "red drive" and doesn't have the better warranty. That's the main thing I miss in this drive.

The WD easystore 4tb external USB 3.0 portable hard drive can black is very nice when I bought it I could not believe the size of it it's four times smaller then my older one and it's twice the size of the hard drive it automatically backs everything up daily or weekly just depends on what you like and I would recommend it to anybody thank you
