I needed an external hard drive to back up photos and videos. It was so easy to set up and begin using. With the automatic backup option, it takes the quess work out for me.

this thing is fast! and has so much storage for all my designs. I am a graphic designer and this thing a a MUST-HAVE item. I also do a lot of digital media, video editing, etc. so helpful

This is simple to set up plug in and go with Microsoft backup. No need to load as software plug and go. Just finished imagining my three machines hard drive and set up schedule for weekly backup

So far, this external drive seems to be great. I took my other 3 external drives and combined everything into this one with loads of room to spare. Fast, quiet drive. Great for a backup device.

Have used multiple WD easystore drives over the past few years, and have never had an issue. Being USB powered and not needing an outlet, they are also super portable and versatile.

I use this with my Surface Laptop and it works great. I wanted the speed of the SSD drive for programs etc. But this takes care of the storage for all my photos, videos etc.

Western Digital external hard drives have always been solid performers, and this one lives up to expectations. The 4TB drive was plenty of room and the price at Best Buy was better than online.

I got this as an external storage for my PC, but it can also be used as an external HDD for PS4 to maximize the systems internal HDD space. Turned my 2TB PS4 into a 6tb PS4. Highly recommend!!!

My daughter needed storage on her new desk top computer we purchased through Best Buy. We got her this for Christmas and she says she stored all her music on it. She loves music.

I bought a new laptop with 500GB SSD which is great for speed but small considering I do a lot of photos and video so needed more space. This is the ticket. Highly recommended.

So far it's great. It replaces a previous one that was quite old. Just plug and play - the way it's supposed to!

There's not a lot to these things; when they work right, you don't notice anything special, if that makes sense. Great for what I bought it for, at a good price for the offered storage capacity.

Wait for these guys to go on sale and you have your self a great deal. Plenty of storage to backup both me and my wifes PCs and the 3.0 transfer speeds are very much appreciated

Use it almost daily since purchase and don’t have many complaints. Obviously an SSD would be faster but I paid about half for twice the storage capacity.

I have loaded tons of pictures that go way back. I’m also using it to keep old family documents. I’m not very computer savvy but I am actually using this like I know what I’m doing.

I bought this to replace my older hard drive. Basically only using to have a copy of my pc backed up and all my files and pictures. It was pretty easy to use, nice and small, seems to work quickly. Only used 1 time so far to transfer all my files from the old hard drive to the new one.

This is my nth WD 4 TB external hard drive. As a user for quite a few years I can honestly say that I have never had any problem with any of them. Try one, you will like it :)

Great product. The extra storage was needed. It is small and very portable. It helped me with backing up all of my movies, photos, and music. I would recommend and purchase again if needed.
