I needed to increase my PS4 storage due to getting more games. I've found myself deleting games and saved data off my PS4 over the past 3 years. Looked into some external hard drives, and this one caught my eye, especially since I bought it for almost half price on sale. Works great. Was a little slow to transfer the first game from my PS4, but after that, it was just like saving onto my PS4. Definitely recommend. Just watch the ad, because this hard drive was on sale almost every week.

I bought this to add memory to my Xbox one and it worked so easy now I can store all of my games and still have plenty of left over memory. It was easy and fast to install plus I love that it is portable and SO small The price was such a good deal at best buy. Well worth it a must have for anyone wanting more memory for any reason.

This Western Digital hard drive is compact and has sufficient storage space for plenty of files. It is fast and reliable.

I absolutely live these drives. I must have about 5 or 6 because they are so versatile. I have 1 attached to my router as a NAS type setup. I have 2 for my Xbox, 1 for captures and 1 for games. I use like 2 for captures on my pc and the rest for backups. WD is my go-to because of the reliability. The one attached to my router has lasted me over 8 years and is still going strong. Speed has been quite good and gaming off one on Xbox is sometimes faster than the internal drive and does well on pc for games although obviously an SSD would be faster, they still aren't near the value these drives have. It's crazy how affordable they are and if they are on sale, I always tend to pick up one or two because you can never have enough storage. Highly recommend

I am using this as an external storage for my PlayStation 4 and I couldn’t be happier with this decision. No noticble lag with playing games off of the external, even for online games with competitive multiplayer. Very slim profile and aesthetically pleasing. I can not even begin to explain how nice it is to not have to worry about removing a game from my internal storage to accommodate a new game, especially with games such as Witcher 3 which can take quite some time to reinstall.

So easy to use. Could not have asked for anything more simple. Nice quality

This is a nice, compact drive that is easy to install. Works well for storing pictures and movies in addition to files.

I will always have one of these and an extra one to spare. I love that you can upload all of your data to a device that is external from the computer that way you can save your stuff in case you have a major failure in your MAC or PC. This holds so much data but once this one fills up I snagged a Samsung one to try out to compare which one is best.

I originally bought this to transfer my games from my Xbox One S to my Xbox One X. Formatting the drive for the Xbox was extremely simple and required the push of a button. I transferred over a teribite worth of games to the external with no issues. I read in a review that after 6 months the drive stopped working. This drive is is always on and plugged in. If the drive fails then I will update this review. If you don’t hear from me again then you will know that it’s a solid drive.

Easy to use, good portable size, and quite. Backing up files went fairly quick.

I use this hard drive to backup my system it is small and has a large storage to back up everything i have two partitions so i can backup bother of my desktop computers and do a full restore should any thing go wrong

I purchased this hard-drive to download backups from one location and keep them with me as I travel to another location. It works great.
