It's not ssd, but its powered by its USB cable and it works on anything, including xbox. For the price, you can beat the convenience and size. I bought two of them.

Great little backup drive. Size is easy to carry around and the capacity is awesome. It seemed really slow to write data but that could be the 3.5 TB of data I transferred to it...

Compact, easy to set up. An enhancement would be backup software resident on the drive, auto booted. But a real value, and it is super portable for the road warriors.

I gave it 5 stars because like the first one external hard drive by WD it was very easy to set up and use.

I use this for my PS4. It is great transfers data fast have not had one issue with it. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for external hard drive for PS4

Just needed a hard dive to save some pictures on. Pretty easy to use although I didn’t anticipate needing to install a program on my computer to use it but, it worked out.

This drive offers quick and reliable storage. It works well for me because it is so physically small and self powered. I use it to back up photos I take overseas.

I purchased 2 of these for our 2 year old iMac. One is being used as a iTunes drive and the other is a Google Backup drive. So far they are doing a great job...no issues!!

A month+ (6 weeks) after purchase I have not yet opened the package. Bought to take advantage of a sale price (which claimed 50% off but was on about 10% lower than competitors' everyday price.) Other reviews rate it highly but not necessarily the highest. Good enough at a good enough price of $100.00 [USD]

This hard drive was plug and play. I used it for my kid’s Xbox to expand his game library and it worked like a charm. I’m considering buying one for the PS4 now
