As usual, a winner in my book. Im a repeat purchaser and love the ease of use and plug and play ability.

This is my second WD hard drive. I enjoy its space for my computer with more volume. It is fast for moving files if needed. On sale, I got this product for a steal.

Works great for an external hard drive, does exactly what it's supposed to do. I haven't tried the included software because I don't need it.

I needed a larger drive for TimeMachine and caught this one on sale for $80.00. I like that it is powered by USB so that is one less power adapter. It doesn't need to be fast to act as a backup drive and it is very quiet. The only fault I'll give it is that when powered downed, it remains in standby mode when attached to my usb hub, so I have to power the hub down fully if I don't want the pulsing light. Most drives are smarter than this one regarding that. So far, no problems and 4 tb is about the maximum I'm willing to go with mechanical hard drives since they tend to switch to shingle-type drives at sizes larger than this. I've had seagate and western digital and every other brand in between and none of them are better or worse than the others, so I shop by price and simply plan to replace every 2-3 years.

After looking nonstop for external hard drives I can across this one. I hooked it up to my PS4 and it works perfect. USB 3.0 transfers it fast and without any issues.

I plugged it in, it loaded, and it worked right away. I have used it over a year now and have had no problems with it all. Great buy.

Bought it to be a multifaceted external drive. It does what it is supposed to do. I can't ask for more, well I could but that would be silly. You need it? Get it.

I paired this to my xbox one x and now I have a great place to store all of my games. Only wish the solid state drives (ssd's) were more affordable.

Bought this to be an external drive for my Xbox One. The setup is quick and it has more than enough room to store all of my digital titles with plenty of room left for more.

It took a bit of time to format this hard drive to use on a Mac but works fine after formatting is complete.

This hard drive is one of the best this far. I’ve ran through many hard drives in my photography career. This one is adorable lightweight and fast. It’s worth every cent.

I am an amateur photographer and needed more space for saving my photos. I previously owned a 1TB WD hard drive, so it was a no brainer to get another one. Love WD products.

I bought the drive for my MacBook Pro. First, it would not show up in my directory as an external hard drive, I had to force the computer to recognize it. Second, since it was formatted for Microsoft, I tried to reformat it to Mac format, it took several hours and had an ultimate fail in formatting. In other works, a dead disk drive. The good thing, and I do like this about Best Buy, there was no questions when I returned it, got my money back and got a Mac formatted 2T WD hard drive, well worth the money because this drive works quite well. I have reformatted several hard drives to Mac format in the past, so the issue appears to be the hard drive itself, though when I looked at reviews for this particular drive, all the Mac owners said that when they tried to reformat this particular drive, it also failed.

We "needed" more storage for all the photos my wife takes. She hates to delete ANY photo of our kids, so she filled our old 1 TB drive. This drive has taken its place and is compact enough to be portable to go to all of the kids' activities and has enough space to last us a few more years (I hope).

I got this external storage for my gaming console. This is an easy plug and play storage unit. It only took a brief minute or so to format it for my console.

I am storing all my digital pictures on this and putting away in a safe spot so they dont get accidentally deleted. its like a back up, but not in the cloud for me.

I had started to see my laptop become slower. Someone advised me to buy this harddrive. Best thing ever. Small enough to keep in your bag and easy usage. Very happy
