I bought this to have a backup for some 1TB drives I have so I can have everything in one place and the time it took was far better then I expected it too.

I have several of these hard drives and have never had any problems with them. They are reliable even though I drop them often (not running of course).

I have two of these hard drives and they never let me down! I wanted one that worked well with a pc as it did with a Mac and these check all the boxes!

Using this as auxiliary storage for my XBox One S. Very good so far - small form factor and quiet as a mouse.

No complaints. Plugged it into my windows 10 machine and it has been doing it's job quietly with no issues. I use it for photos storage for my Lightroom edits.

It holds all my files with no problems so far. no complaints. good and very convenient product.

I purchased this to replace a smaller drive I was using for backups. This extra space helped me do a full backup of 2tb of data, and have plenty of space for more.

WD storage devices are the only ones I buy any capacity storage great if on sale though

I paired this to my xbox one x and now I have a great place to store all of my games. Only wish the solid state drives (ssd's) were more affordable.

This is my second WD hard drive. I enjoy its space for my computer with more volume. It is fast for moving files if needed. On sale, I got this product for a steal.

As my summary says it is a Great little external hard drive and at the sale price was so good a deal and so tempting that I bought 2 of them one for me and one for my wife.

I needed a larger drive for TimeMachine and caught this one on sale for $80.00. I like that it is powered by USB so that is one less power adapter. It doesn't need to be fast to act as a backup drive and it is very quiet. The only fault I'll give it is that when powered downed, it remains in standby mode when attached to my usb hub, so I have to power the hub down fully if I don't want the pulsing light. Most drives are smarter than this one regarding that. So far, no problems and 4 tb is about the maximum I'm willing to go with mechanical hard drives since they tend to switch to shingle-type drives at sizes larger than this. I've had seagate and western digital and every other brand in between and none of them are better or worse than the others, so I shop by price and simply plan to replace every 2-3 years.

After looking nonstop for external hard drives I can across this one. I hooked it up to my PS4 and it works perfect. USB 3.0 transfers it fast and without any issues.

Bought it to be a multifaceted external drive. It does what it is supposed to do. I can't ask for more, well I could but that would be silly. You need it? Get it.

Great external hard drive. Sets up quick and format and you're off. This is my second one. We use them for Xbox one and so far no complaints. I just hope someone makes a solution for the next gen cause $250 for a 1 gig ssd expansion is insane.

So far, used once to backup my laptop. Seemed pretty straight forward.

Love this easy to use external hard drive! Walks you right through the point on how to get to where you need to go... Very simplistic if you aren't tech. comfortable!
