Bought this to be an external drive for my Xbox One. The setup is quick and it has more than enough room to store all of my digital titles with plenty of room left for more.

It took a bit of time to format this hard drive to use on a Mac but works fine after formatting is complete.

We're using this as a backup device for off-site storage. It's small enough to easily fit anywhere & is simple to set up. Family photos, financials - all safe!

I bought this to store files for my Plex server on the nvidia shield tv pro. Holds tons of data at 4GB. It’s WD so it should last a long time.

Got this to back up pictures on my old laptop. Glad I can store my older pictures from digital cameras in one spot and not worry about my computer crashing!

We "needed" more storage for all the photos my wife takes. She hates to delete ANY photo of our kids, so she filled our old 1 TB drive. This drive has taken its place and is compact enough to be portable to go to all of the kids' activities and has enough space to last us a few more years (I hope).

I bought the drive for my MacBook Pro. First, it would not show up in my directory as an external hard drive, I had to force the computer to recognize it. Second, since it was formatted for Microsoft, I tried to reformat it to Mac format, it took several hours and had an ultimate fail in formatting. In other works, a dead disk drive. The good thing, and I do like this about Best Buy, there was no questions when I returned it, got my money back and got a Mac formatted 2T WD hard drive, well worth the money because this drive works quite well. I have reformatted several hard drives to Mac format in the past, so the issue appears to be the hard drive itself, though when I looked at reviews for this particular drive, all the Mac owners said that when they tried to reformat this particular drive, it also failed.

Been using this for a while now for basic gaming, and it’s so easy. Absolutely recommended.
