Good brand for a external hard drive. It has a lot of space and was on sale at a good price.

What's not to like . Four GBs for undrr $100. I have a great many movies on different external HDs. Nice to have them all on one.... backed up of course.

I have purchased quite a few external hard drives and had failures in each of the name brands. WD has been the most reliable of the bunch. I refuse to buy Toshiba and Samsung externals all together because they consistently failed within a year (or less) of purchase.
