Maybe Better Options

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mostly this did what it was supposed to but the case separated a couple of times just from handling (not from drops). In less than 2 years it was occasionally not being recognized. Finally, my daughter forgot it was plugged in and pulled it from the table. It fell about 2 feet and would not read again. The big caveat here is that the port is attached to the board so this cannot be read by a SATA drive or similar once it fails. So, for this reason I’d steer clear. It still runs and powers up but no solution for my pics yet. I’d say a portable drive should be a bit more durable.
