Great Drive! Fast and No Problems

I believe this removed any WD software (though I could opt to add it back in--WD has instructions on their website). Keeps drive simple and quick. Importantly, when I seek to disconnect the drive from my computer, it disconnects quickly and cleanly. I really like this drive. It's the second one I have bought. Hope you have as good an experience as I have had with these drives!

However, if you have a iMac running High Sierra, this drive isn’t plug’n’play for you. You’ll need to set it up with the terminal. I managed, but it wasn’t fun.
