I bought this on a Black Friday special. It was well worth the money spent to purchase. I recommend this device

Didn’t love this because you have to install software to connect it and make it work which didn’t work in our case. There are other brands we preferred and purchased after.

Easy to install on a Mac doing exactly as directed. It serves as a good external hard drive for storage.

The Western Digital fourterabyte hard drive is a very great.

So far no problems. Plugs in, is recognized, and is still alive after 7 months of infrequent use as a backup drive. I will increase to five stars if it is still performing after a year or two.

I bought this to expand the storage of my XBOX One S. Easy to connect and use. Was exactly what I needed.

For years, I have used Seagate drives with no issue. 3 months ago, I thought I would save some money and bought the WD drive on sale. Well, 3 months after purchase, this drive is making terrible grinding and clicking sounds. The only way to stop it was to physically unplug it from the USB. Nothing else responded. I called for customer support. The human on the line was nice, but the policies for handling this situation by the company are not acceptable to me. Thank goodness I had a second backup of my important contents, but I'm losing my system image backup and file history. I'm going back to Seagate and trashing the wasted money and WD drive. I learned a hard lesson.
