I purchased this 4TB portable hard drive to extend the storage of my 1TB Xbox One X. Xbox One games can consume dozens of additional gigabytes of storage due to newly available 4K or "Enhanced" assets. This 4TB drive is a no brainer. I was able to snag it at the incredibly low price of $79.99. It's even a good deal at $130. So far it works incredibly well and I highly recommend it.

Easy to use. Went back and bought another one for my parents. Going in today to purchase another easy store device for my iphone. Hoping that the technology holds for many years so that I don't have to continue transferring files to keep memories in tact forever. Appreciate the many options provided by WD.

So, I bought an SSD drive a few months ago. It was a 1TB unit and served my purpose at the time. I was looking for an SSD to decommission some old laptops but the price was way more than I wanted to spend. I ended up getting this little beauty on sale! I also had some points to match with it, so it ended up being an excellent purchase. This unit has all the storage you will ever need. I have some older WD drives that are 1 and 2 TB, but they required a power connection and were bulky. This HD is compact and mobile! It has the storage capability to handle whatever you will throw at it. You can even use this as a backup drive for a security DVR, a television DVR, a second HD for files and videos, whatever you choose. If you're thinking about getting one and are on the fence. Get it. You won't be sorry!

I have had this USB portable hard drive is about 1 year old for me now. I have saved So MUCH on it, and it barely registers I have used hardly any space at all. AMAZING.

This is a simple USB 3.0 4 TB portable mechanical hard drive. No surprises in performance at all. The only surprise was the physical size of this. It is thicker than other portable hard drives that I have used. Due to the capacity, I would imagine that it probably has a 12.5 mm drive inside. Still, if you don't mind a little extra thickness, I have nothing bad to say about it.

Bought this drive for an extra backup of our server files. With no room to spare on my desk, this was a no brainer. Sits perfectly on top of my tower, very quiet and reliable. I just set SyncBack to write to this new drive & forget it! Good speed, no errors or issues with backups, transfers are pretty fast.

This item was purchased to provide additional storage space for my gaming systems and was excellently priced. The device is easy to setup and very stable, thus far. Plenty of storage, stable device, and a good price...you can't ask for much more!

The four TB external drive is an excellent way to get organized. The price could not be beat. The drive was easy to use. The size of the drive minimized any concerns that the numerous photos we want to save would fit on the drive.

This External HD performs well. I have 2 others. both WD Easystore. 1 TB and a 2 TB They all perform well. I used them for storage for my computer.

This 4tb hard drive is a great way to store all ur data securely. I personally prefer WD over seagate. I have a 2 TB WD passport drive which I had purchased 4 years ago and it still operates without giving a hard time. I bought a seagate last year and it stopped working and I lost all my data. This is a great drive with fast read / write speeds. I would recommend this drive..

Works great as extended storage for PS4 games on the PS5 console. Plugged it in and it worked with no problems, just needed formatting! Highly recommend, had my previous WD drive for over three years. Just upgraded for more space.

For the price I paid it is excelent HDD. Fast, Compact and a lot of space.
