Great hard drive. It works with my macbook as well as my chromebook. Easy instructions to use. It is also affordable. You do have to reformat drive to make it work with macbook but it was easy to complete the task.

I purchased this external hard drive on sale. It packs 4TB into a small package. Installation is easy and it delivers solid, trouble-free data back-up performance. Tech support is adequate.

With this Hard Drive I can save 4 ever! With 4TB I can use 1 for music and 1 for videos and 1 for work and.... still have 1 left over to use. Another item I caught on sale.... For those of you that don't know... Best Buy be having some serious sales!!

I use this to back up my back ups. I needed a larger drive for this purpose and this was perfect. The drive itself is quite compact given it's 4TB capacity. It works well and I have very little delay when searching the drive for photos I need. The speed of this drive vs. my SSD hasn't slowed me down any. I would recommend this drive if you just need some storage for back up. Due to the size and mobility of the drive I would recommend it as a great drive for traveling with. If you need a dedicated home back up drive you could use this. However, I would pick something a bit lager (physically) for home back up if your using it daily. This would be better suited as an intermittent back up of your back up.

Love the extra storage for my Tablo!! I now can record practically unlimited shows from my antenna TV.

I have a couple of these drives - this 4TB version for my PS4 and an older 5TB version for my PS5. Overall great options for adding extra storage to Sony consoles. Not the fastest drives, but I’ll transfer games I’m currently playing to the system storage for speed.

Bought this because I need to backup years worth of photos and videos from google photos. I have completed that and the drive have worked perfectly with no issues at all. I’m happy with it performance.

I bought this for my Xbox One as extra space for games. This hard drive is great. It's fast, it's small, and basically ready to use out of the box. So far it's been the best accessory I've purchased for the Xbox.

This drive was a life saver. One of my drives failed many months ago and my wife purchased me this model to replace the old one. This drive is more slick and compact in design and is easily stored without creating a large bump in my tech bag. As soon as I saw it go on sale for Black Friday I quickly purchased 2 additional drives.

Used to be a Seagate fan, but I have to say Western Digital has come a long way. Connected to a 13 year old computer on USB 3.0. Wow this thing is fast, no wait for opening a 7gb folder of wedding pics anymore. Truly plug and play.

I got this item on sale and for the price of 4TB on the market, it performs flawlessly. Just plug and play and drag and drop all your files that need to be backed up over USB 3.0. I have never used the included software on the drive since I prefer to manage files myself, therefore, cannot comment on that. The plastic design is mediocre, but definitely does not feel cheap. No additional power sources needed as USB 3.0 cable takes care of transferring the files and running the device. The transfer rate is acceptable. Great for people who need a backup solution for personal files with portability.

It is amazing, it works great, and It is worth it’s price. I would definitely recommend it for storing/playing video games, and storing files.
