Good external hard drive

My only complaint is that it has started "disconnecting" from my computer semi-regularly, so I'll be working on a project on the external drive, and the computer suddenly thinks the drive isn't plugged in anymore, so all my work closes out without saving. I don't know if this is an issue with the computer, external hard drive, or the connecting cord. Other than that, I haven't had any issues.

Already having problems

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my failed WD - easystore® 4TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive - Black. But this one started having problems in April. The hard drive will reset it's self from time to time while playing games loaded on it with my ps4. I have wiped an reloaded it twice and still the same problem exists. I have also tried to use it as a video hard drive and that was even worse. The drive would reset after about 10 minutes of use and then say the video is not playable. This happens will all the mp4 or avi files I put on it. I've tried to exchange it with my local Best Buy in April but they say it's out of the return policy and need to contact WD. Sad because Best Buy used to help customers and exchange faulty products within a reasonable time. Also, i have no idea how to contact WD to exchange or fix it. this is why I bought from BB in the past but after the TV ordeal the other hard drive fail and now this one fails. I'm going to start shopping somewhere that will help with product fails and work with me to resolve my issue rather than just saying there is nothing that can be done.
