A little difficult to set up install with the laptop the first time then no problems. Nice to have a small portable backup.

I purchased this hard drive and have never looked back! It was such a great buy. I own Mac machines, and it’s easy to use with Mac machines. I did need to reformat but it was very easy! If you are looking for a sturdy hard drive, this is you best bet!

So far I have no complaints. Works well with my computer and also my playstation 4. This is an overall good buy.

Can't complain too much about this hard drive. Don't have use for the software that comes on it, but it's easy to delete.

I’m a photographer, I bought this hardrive to back up 4tb worth of photos and after the 20th day, the drive failed. Didn’t drop or moved the hardrive while it’s operating. Worst drive so far

I DJ and have films, movies, games, and tons of files. It transferred quickly and very portable with tons of space.

Got this on a deal of the day offering and couldn't be happier with the physical and storage size of this drive. Lots of bang for the buck. Makes it easier to keep what's actually stored on my laptop at a minimum, which means it works better and my info is more secure.

I use this for my Xbox One and it works perfectly. You plug it right in and the xbox reads it instantly, and storing games on it is as easy as updating the settings on xbox to use external HD vs internal storage.

The transfer speeds on a USB 3.0 when writing to and reading from is great! Writing to I get around 35 MB/s and reading from I get around 100 MB/s. I can transfer a large library of family photos and videos in a reasonable amount of time. And as of 2/17/2018, still works so I am happy.

Decent hard drive for 99$ but A little noisy but 4 terabyte for $100 no too bad

Only problem is I have a TV LG 5 years old with a USB 2.0 connection and since this has 3.o it wont load into my LG but I have a samsung smart TV has 3.0 and works perfectly. I use it for movies and music. Seems 3.0 wont work with 2.0, but if you have a 2.0 it will work with any 2.0 and up.

I needed another drive while traveling on a large project for one of my clients, and Best Buy is always my go-to source for quick resolutions to my technical needs. Their inventory is extensive with plenty of options as to drive size, formatting, etc.

This thing has not failed me once. Solid device that I carry in my backpack to work almost every day. I'm sure its been bounced around quite aggressively. It's not my only copy of my backup data, but its nice to know its well protected on this device.

Good drive, compact and portable. It didi take me a while to format it for the MAC. Other than that, you can't beat it.

This HD has 300 gigs of go pro movies and pictures of my family - the only downside is the upload of the video to my computer is a bit slow - dont know how i can make it load faster but other than that easy to use and very portable size will fit in pocket

I bought this as a deal of the day because I needed a new external hard drive and it was a great price for the total memory. I'm having a little trouble getting it to work with my Mac. Something about having to install Time Machine? It definitely isn't plug and go. I'm probably going to have to call support to help me out. I'm sure everything will be fine. I love Western Digital products.
