Formatting of the drive to work with Mac and PC at the same time (exFAT) was a challenge. Still can’t get it to work with WDMycliud. WD support is excellent.

Had not even a year and it somehow got an corrupted file and doesn't work. I used this for my ps4

This external HDD works fine. It's fast when connected to a USB3 port. Lots of space I can use for backing up my files.

I have used this product before, but with a smaller amount of storage capacity. Very useful, and extremely easy to use.

At first I was skeptical of buying this product, because it was a bit expensive. However, after looking it over and even testing it first hand I fell in love. Let me Just say this: "I transferred 150 GB worth of movies and other data from my PC to the Hard Drive in just under 10 minutes."

I'll eventually get to all the footage I have but until then it'll sit in this instead of my computer.

My shopping experience was outstanding since I was ordering for work! I ordered online and the product was available for pickup within 2 hours. It took literally 5 minutes in the store. The drive has been working well and was worth the purchase.

It’s hard to hind drives that work with Macs right out of the box, but this drive did. It was so easy to setup and use with both my desktop and laptop Macs. Setup took maybe two minutes. I was so impressed, I bought two. They have been working great.

Used as photo storage for an IMac. Easy setup and install.

Overall, it's a good external HD with plenty of memory. Wasn't overly expensive and has a lot of room for storage.

I love this drive now. At first, I had issues with it, and was ready to return it. I than found that I was only having issues on certain PCs. After some investigating, I found that Windows was not loading the proper drivers. Once I corrected this, it ran flawlessly.

I'm very happy with this product. It doesnt take up a lot of space and its quick and easy to move files.

I purchased this hard drive to use with my Tablo over the air DVR. It has been working flawlessly for nearly 9 months. I had a little problem with Tablo formatting it in the beginning, but I’m not sure if that was the hard drive’s fault or my Tablo’s fault.

I needed an external hd for storing video. this drive is fast and efficient. can't beat it, especially for the price.

I bought this unit for our office in Texas and we found the 5400 rpm to be quite adequate for us. The bit packing at these densities would drive the serial data rates well beyond the roof if the spindle speeds got any higher. Hence, they are nicely designed to maintain data integrity.

Good price at Best Buy. Got it on sale, has a lot of storage

Can't argue that this is a great price for this amount of memory. The product works as promised, however the only reason it doesn't get a full rating is because all my previous Western Digital products last for only 2-3 years max before there are issues. Can't say that it will happen with this, but experience has taught me that if you are looking for long term storage, to go with a different brand or splurge on a solid state drive instead.
