I bought this to load up with movies and TV Shows for a 3 week vacation and the drive performed excellently. Had no problems copying data to it and it performed great playing media from it with no hiccups. Survived travel and baggage handlers tossing luggage around wih no problems.

This is a great storage device that allows you to store all kinds of data. For mean I use it with my Xbox One.

Purchased on sale $109 recently! That's alot of storage for cheap. Mine is being used as expanded storage with my Nvidia Shield and its working as expanded drive space, so its dedicated to just the Shield. Loaded up my music and pictures so far all is great!

Not the fastest drive out there but if you’re looking to simply archive or expand space, this is the one for you.

This is a good traditional HDD. I needed to back up my computer in a pinch and found this one for a decent price and bought it. It’s not going to blow you away with speed, especially if you are coming from the SSD world but you can’t beat the value for the amount of memory you are getting.

my 10+ yr old WD external hard drive finally became unstable (probably the USB connection is loose). Anyway, I decided to go with a WD again, given its lengthy endurance. Very easy to set up, as the name implies. So far, I've been using it to store documents. Very fast.

Needed this for my ps4. Great for playing and saving my games. Wish they had internal ones though. Too bulky.

Needed a new external drive to suport new laptop. Chose Western Digital 4TB drive size to support laptop backups to ensure that all photos, documents, music, and movies would not be lost. I am not using the WD back up software, but seems to work very fast and is reliable.

I love this. I no longer have to worry about losing everything on my computer because I have my files backed up. What's better is that I keep my computer up to speed by keeping my larger files strictly on the harddrive. A good value for the money l!

Be sure to buy warranty with this item. Began clicking after 1 week. Otherwise works as intended.

I bought this to transfer files and photos from my phone and computer. So far it works great and is easily portable. Just wait for it to go on sale or deal if the day

It's a good HD, for the price and the capacity is good, what I do not like is that it does not stop. It is always working and that can wear it out more quickly, I have others of the same brand and by not using it they stop until they work again. that's why I would not recommend it. You have to be very attentive. In addition to consuming the pile of laptop excessively.

No problems setting this up. I pluged this into my Mac and it walked me through set up step by step.
