I have been digitizing my very large CD collection and I had already filled up two 1 TB hard-drives so I needed something larger. I am very pleased with the speed at which my files transfer and I now have plenty of spaced for my music collection.

This is an outstanding and very fast external hard drive. I have 7 WD external hard drives and they are durable and reliable. I look forward to purchasing more WD drives in the future. I'm unable to upload a photo, it reset the review each time I've tried.

This is a good size and very lightweight. 4tb will take a little while to use up

I purchased this a month ago and found it easy to use. It does what I need it to do.

Very good, small, portable external. I wanted something light, small and good transferring speed.

Works as it should. When used for continuous writes with video software it fails after about a year, but that it to be expected with such as duty cycle.

I got this to hook to my MacBook Pro dock to use for local Time Machine backups. Works great. Just have to remember to eject the drive before disconnecting the laptop from the dock. Great for a student who needs a backup solution for their college laptop.

I use this almost every single day with my Xbox and I love that it helps to fill in the gap that Microsoft created by not allowing for expandable memory I hated having to delete games an reinstall them almost ever single month.

Tried setting up and it never worked, get error messages it has not enough space to erase.

I had a backup drive from the same manufacturer and had some difficulty in getting the software for the new drive installed. It took probably a half hour of trying different things, including multiple installs of the new software before the new drive was recognized and I could set up the backup schedule. After that all seems to be well.

Bought this as a gift for my brother to help with his capacity needs for additional games. He already had a 1tb drive and added this as a second. Installed quick and easy and great performance also. Didn't hurt that it was on sale for $100 also!

This 4TB hard drive is bus-powered. That means the hard drive is powered through the USB cable and does not require power an external power cord. This is by far the best portable hard drive because I don't have to power the hard drive with a power cord!

The product is performing as promised it is what I have come to expect with Western Digital

This unit has been a very nice addition to my external drive lineup. I had been waiting a while for the prices to come down. I got this baby on sale $90 off reg Pricing. WD has always given my a reliable product and I feel this will continue in this case.

Haley was so helpful when my hard drive crashed. She made sure my data was backed up and called me to explain the whole process. When my laptop came back the geek squad made sure everything was done exactly how I wanted it. They really did a great job!!

I bought this because I ran out of space on my XBox One as you probably know doesn’t take long. I had a one TB drive and it was full too. So I hooked this up and started transferring to it. It works great and seems to be fast.

It's very sleek in design and Working as a I expected. Definitely worth for the money.
