    got it for a good deal i was skeptical at first but i can return if it's not gonna work out for me, formatted it built a partition for windows and mac and just drag and drop files, picture, video, music etc

    So far, so good. I'm still kind of getting used to having 4TB this small. I'm so used to the EasyStore-type of drives that relies on another power source not through the USB cable.

    Got it mainly to store a backup image of my C drive. Small warning, my PC will not boot when it is connected. So, leave disconnected until boot is complete if you experience similar issues.

    I bought this external HDD to increase storage of my MacMini. It is not plug and play, I had to format it in a windows computer so Mac would read it. Once the partition was setup it became plug and play. I’m satisfied with the read write speed. Although it is a portable HDD, I rarely move it around. That maybe one reason it’s working well for me

    I had issues initially using this shutting off while using it but I think it was the computer didn't have enough power to the USB port, changed to another USB 3.0 port and haven't had an issue since.
