I needed a external drive & I wanted one with at least 4-8TB. This one was on sale & I jumped on the opportunity. I haven't used it yet but its sole purpose will be to backup all my PS4 games. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs more storage for their consoles or PC.

Works easily with MacBook Pro. It needed erasing as manufacturers packaging had indicated. The box instructions agreed with what I saw on my screen as I set it up and used it immediately after purchase. I've used it daily for a couple of weeks and it is reliable fast and just what I wanted.

Everything has been running smoothly up to this point. I haven’t had any issues.It is very simple and easy to figure out, with a simple YouTube video I was able to install it on my own. I use this for all of my photo shoots.

Good quality product works with my PS4. Easy to use plug and play.

I got this on Black Friday on a whim, went to Best Buy to get an external hard drive for my PS4. For 80 bucks, this thing is amazing. After formatting I had about 3.6TB of data available for my playstation, which is more than enough. I do not notice any difference in speed, it's great!

Works great with my new IMac desktop computer. Apple recommended a 4TB with my 2TB machine. Works great with my Time Machine Backups.

This disk worked out of the box with the provided USB cable. The price is very good for a compact, portable drive with 4TB. It is a little slow, but for the price, it is fine. I am concerned about losing the product-specific cable that came with the drive. It has a funny end that looks like it is probably a miniature version of an ATA cable. I have not looked to see if these can be purchased at stores, but if I lose or damage the cable, it looks like a WD mail order item.

Given the ever increasing size of some PC games these days (Warzone), this has been essential to have in tandem with my smaller SSD. I can run the game from this drive and never have to worry about space again.

This purchase was an afterthought. The price was good enough I would happily pay it. I use this USB external drive to run Linux on a computer that has Windows on its internal hard drive. The dual boot situation has worked well.

Excellent for Retro gaming and storing large volumes of games and Emulators on. Building up an archive of games uses a large volume of space and this holds a good amount. Plug and play works great for what I needed. I always can trust WD.

Great product ,small and portable .you can take it where ever you like with no problems.it fit in your pants and useful for backing your data anywhere..good for photographer.

Great little portable drive. I use it when traveling as a storage space for movies. It's response time is good and works great!

I will only buy WD products after a failed portable drive from another manufacture failed, and they wanted a minimum of $500 to even see if files could be recovered. I've never had an issue with WD products personally or at the CPA firm I work. Great sale made this one a no brainer!

After running out of room on all my other external HD's, I bought this because of its capacity. It is amazingly small and the price was reasonable. Very glad I bought it.

I have quite a few of them - I do a lot of traveling and 4K video. This drive is perfect for traveling, it is fast, small size, reliable. Perfect to back up large files.

No reason not to buy multiples and have plenty of backup. The WD line of portable drives is solid. I've only had one out of six flat out fail and it saw lots of moving around so not unexpected.

I found these to be super easy to use. I always get nervous that I’ll lose the content due to other reviews but that hasn’t happened yet. Can be formatted easily to go between Mac and windows
