    The Western Digital 4TB portable hard drive has a fast data transfer rate. The hard drive does not have encryption software. The hard drive does not work with existing WD encryption software. I had to format and install encryption software to keep my work files safe.

    Worked right out of the box. Transferred all pictures from various drives. Could not get the software to install. Wish it has password protection like my other WD drive.

    I purchased this WD drive as a backup drive; so far it's been working fine since I purchased it about a month ago. I use it weekly to backup 4 laptops/PCs (all Windows 10) in my home, via the USB 3.0 interface. The 1st backup seemed painfully slow, so not sure if that was an issue with the drive or my PC's.

    Used this to store the entire ps2 library. Connects and performs like a usb 3.0 drive should.its a bit fatter than other drives but its 4 tb's... extra platter i guess.
