    Looked like a nice little drive. However it failed with the clicks of death within 24 hrs of the first use. I would have been happy to have a replacement, but Best Buy insisted on having the old one back and I had already copied confidential data onto it - so I didn't want to surrender it. So I'm out $110. I've bought about 10 hard drives from Best Buy over the years. No problems before this. Oh well ...

    It works as advertised. Transfer speeds are decently fast and I was able to transfer 780 gigs overnight. WD has a good reputation so now just need to see how the durability goes.

    Decent hard drive on sale and works well though the back up felt a little slow. It is a special model for best buy. When not on deep sale, for the same cost, you can get the WD My Passport portable HD at the same capacity. I believe this is a better WD drive with encryption and likely a higher quality HD.
