This is a must for securely backing up files. I was able to encrypt the drive and backup my MacBook Pro. It uses USB type A which I prefer.

Picked this drive for picture storage for my wife. Have had great luck with WD drives and this one doesn't disappoint. Very fast with USB 3.0.

Holds all our media libraries - video, ebook and music - and is available to anyone on our WiFi. We love it. Very stable performance

I’ve had other drives before this one, but it his is the most stable. I use it for my Xbox, and games load much faster than before.

Love these drives. I use them for computer backups as well as offline storage. They are lightweight and easy to carry due to being so small.

Excellent additional external drive that does not require ac/dc to work. Jiust need an available USB drive

The drive is large enough to store my photography for backup, but it is about four times slower than my other USB 3 backup drives. I would not buy this product again. I need to pay more attention to the transfer rate.

Would have given 5 stars if I have the external drive attached to my laptop, when I go to save a copy of a document that it would automatically bring up the external document file to copy to it. It may do that but have not figured that out yet if available.

Unable to plug in and have computer recognize device or have just the new items form computer stored. Have asked for help from GeekSquad and told I need to pay a lump for service.

A nice 4tb backup (that Im using on my Mac) I had to reformat it to work with my Mac, took about 3 minutes...it works well as advertised.

So far no issues. Seems to be hardy. It travels back and forth to work in a back pack on a daily basis. Works well.

Great to expand the storage of your xbox or ps4. For computer use I like the security features it comes with like password protection.

It's been sometime I'm using the hard disk and it's super easy to carry. The data transfer speed is pretty good. Got no probs. Go for it!!!

Good one but gives error every time I remove the hard disk with out safe eject. Always consider multiple small size hard disk vs one huge hard disk

I'm impressed how they got 4tb into a small form factor and it works off USB power. No more clunky power supply and extra cords. Very happy.

This hard drive is light , compact, and portable. The installation was easy for PS4. I would definitely recommend this hard drive.
