This was a replacement for a hard drive made a few years ago. Guess I'll be doing this again in a few years. What a shame.

Good plug & play storage for MacBook Pro. Didn’t use the bundled backup software.

I have had MYBOOKS, PASSPORTS and EASYSTORE. The only one I would recommend is the easystore it really is easy to store data with it!

I bought 2. One for music, movies and photos and one for PS4 external storage. Data transfer very fast (with usb3). Works perfect with PS4.

Small affordable portable drive that's great backing up files. Not as fast as solid state drive obviously but a good value option 4TB for $100.

i have a 2tb and now this 4tb for my xbox one x, helps with extra space. All my 4k games are internal and everything else are on my external

USB 3.0 for a fast back up of all your memories. If multimilliion dollar companies can't secure data, at least you can.

Very good product I purchased this because it was on sale. These drives are just WD Red 5400 RPM drives. Speed test show 180 MB/s read and write.

I’ve got several WD drives for media storage and backup. I’ve never had a problem with them. Nice compact and portable design.

I bought this as a backup for my computer and so far it’s done it job I add updates to it for backing up my storage and then put it back and when I have an issue with my computer it’s there ready to save me!

very popular Social Video has a company that supposedly is an expert on WD and tells you how to mount this a WD .... BUT THEY USE A SEAGATE AS A DEMO. TECH something another company I guess does not have the confidence to use a WD even though they repeatedly respond to my "search." I believe YOU SHOULD NOT STOCK A PRODUCT LIKE WD because of it extremely BAD, BAD, BAD reputation with highly respected repair and maintenance shops around the country. This is my opinion, but at least you should test this product with a MAC and make an informed decision. Thank You

Using a 3.0 usb port makes things transfer a whole lot quicker. It does not over heat and has functioned as described since I bought it.

This is my second purchase of this, one came with a bonus flash drive. Great value for a great storage device for data or gaming.

Data transfers are much faster than the previous model with USB 2. Also, it seems to be built to withstand some pretty good abuse.

I purchased this unit for my Xbox One X. It's smooth running capabilities have provided streamline game play and short load times.LOVE IT!
