Very nice. Fast and stable. It is used for downloading movies and then connecting to my Samsung TV for watching rather than streaming.

This is a great Drive that I use to Back Up my Mac Book Pro as well as keep a copy of files needed for work, personal, etc...

My Son who’s a Marine needed this for his gaming system. he’s happy that he can travel with this lightweight external hard drive even when he’s over sees. He couldn’t travel with all his games but is able to enjoy some that he has saved on there.

I bought this for file backups and media storage. It's ery quick at file transfers and videos play very smoothly. Really nice device.

This is my first external hard drive and I was quite skeptical at first but when I got it running I was beyond impressed!!

Although I don't see a lot of value to the preinstalled software, the drive itself works quite well. I'm not sure that it really provides USB 3 speed, but it's a good drive for the money. If you need to use a USB hub, make sure it's powered.

Bought to expand space on Xbox one. Works just as advertised. I most appreciate the fact that it doesn't require its own power supply.

Although, I have had other WD external hard drives fail on occasion, ALL of the Toshiba and Seagate externals have failed early. To make things worse, several times the Toshoba and Seagate drives sent as in-warrenty replacement drives also failed.

It worked as described and allowed me to back up a series of video files for my son and gave him room to spare. It was a good value.

I purchased this drive as a Time Machine backup on my Mac. Although the specs say it will work with a MAC, the unit is really designed for a WINDOWS based system. With a little coaxing and maneuvering, I was able to get this drive to work with my MAC.

Unpacked the Drive, read the instructions, plugged it into the computer & power outlet, and it works great! I'd buy another if needed.

Great portable and fast hard drive. I use to store and edit video projects directly with Final Cut Pro MAC program.
