I would recommend this to friends and family check it out

This is supposed to be plug and play but it wasn't that easy for me and I had to have Geek Squd help me. I bought it to back up my laptop and thought it would walk me through how to set up but it keeps trying to send a back up to dropbox which i don't want. Now I keep getting errors even recognizing the drive is there on my computer. Maybe it's me but I do not reommend this product.

Just works. Everyone has their brand preference and WD is mine. I have never had a problem with them but really YMMV.

I am so pleased to have external hard drive. Even though size is small, the capacity has 4 TB. It's amazing product.

I bought this external hard drive as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I (my husband) has been unable to install it in her HP Pavilion laptop computer. He followed the instructions and troubleshooting information including restarting several times, installing and uninstalling, etc. When none of this worked, he called tech support and spent an hour and a half on the phone (until the phone battery died) with no success. Both of us have installed hard drives in other computers with no issues. What do you suggest?

Purchased for my play station, 1tb is never enough !

This replaces my 1st Garmin with a lot more features and a bigger screen. We have 3 total.

The device itself appeared to work as advertised, but something in the USB connection prevented my PC from rebooting when it was plugged in. I received an RMA direct from Western Digital, but have yet to receive a replacement.

Use ad my mass storage for plex on my shield box. Can put a lot of movies on here.

good value and performance. highly recommend that you grab a decent case - it is somewhat "fragile" to a 2' impact...

Just plug it in! My son used this device to add external storage to his ps4. Nothing to do just plug and go

It is a little slow but it does the job. I got it on sale but a USB C would probably be faster.

These drives are a good value for my downloaded movies. I bought several, and will probably buy more.

This hard drive checks out, I used it on my PS4 although it needs to be wiped the first time it gets plugged in.

Bought it for storage upgrade for Xbox One - greatly expanded capacity with no problem! Great product - great price.

This was actually cheaper and has more storage then the PS4 storage they sell so I liked it.

The Apps that WD supply are helpful but, not necessary. Quick and painless transfer option.

I've purchase Insignia TVs in the past. Very good quality TV and I like the built in Roku. 4K picture is fantastic.

I am using it to back up data from a Desktop and a Laptop and using the USB 3 is super fast.
