    bought this for my daughter going into the Peace Corps so she could watch movies, listen to music, etc. Was a little difficult to get set up but appears to be a solid drive. Would recommend.

    It is USB powered but does not have any way to power down or sleep without using safe to remove procedure. Then to power back up it has to be unplugged from pc and plugged back in.
