If you use it constantly it will become corrupt and you will loose all your files. This product requires a backup storage method because you never know when it will stop working. I purchased two within a three month time span and they both burned out. Purchasing the insurance only covers the hard drive not your data.

Also came with some passport folder which is not my item category. Anyway returned this item. Lot of time wasted in purchasing setting up speaking with customer care & return.

Not compatible across different operating systems

After my update now the wd easystore is not being recognized. I have tried on mac and many linux versions. I'm scares now i have lost my photos and videos.
