WD Easystore never mounts

Always takes multiple tries to mount to Mac and sometimes never does. Have all my back up on it and fear its all going to be lost at some point, And WD Support is the worst! Dont buy this things. Nothing but problems

Almost lost my pics!

I thought I lost a year of pics. Finally it came up and said I could read the files and to copy them immediately and reformat. I did and it has been working since. Scared the cra$ out of me.

WD Easy not so easy

I am not very happy with the set up, it immediately asked if I wanted to backup cloud accounts I chose yes, it copied all file but two but didn’t show the two it couldn’t. I then tried to back up my laptop and cannot figure out how to do it. I have opened the manual but the directions are not clear and this is anything but “Easy” I am not happy with my purchase.

I would suggest keeping it in a hard cover carrying case because it's not durable. I've had to send my portable hard drive to a specialty store to get the footage off of my hard drive because the files had internal damage but there was no visible damage to the case.
