Easystore software doesn't work

I contacted WD and was told to bypass it and use windows backup instead. I had hoped to use the easystore features and obtain updates. Not going to happen.

Giving 1 Star because the security module is not available for the portable storage. I’m not sure why such a product is manufactured without security controls.

If You Have a Mac, Don't Buy This

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This HD requires reformatting, which did not work, and then, NTFS software which costs $19.95. At this point with remote HDs, when they say they are Mac compatible, they should be plug and use, period.
