Don't even know

I just opened it this week. Tried using it on both computers in my offices and laptops. It is unreadable from both Windows and Macs. It keeps beeping as well. I've tried online manuals and installing all sorts of drivers but cannot get this to work. I wish I could say I love it but I can't even use it to know.

This isn't the first WD drive that I've had this issue with -- I think it's some kind of conflict with my (Lenovo) laptop and their proprietary software. I ended up giving this one to my boyfriend to use with his PlayStation system.
