I use this 4TB as a back up for my CNC files. I have a working copy on another drive but back up to my 4TB. Saves me if I have a hiccup in the shop.

Worked as expected out of the box. It was an excellent deal that I couldn't pass up (purchased on sale). Working well so far (just about a month in) with no odd problems noticed. I did not use any of the software included with drive, so I cannot comment on that. Simply plugged it in to an available USB 3.0 port, re-partitioned, formatted ntfs, and then used it as simple intermittent-use external storage. Hopefully will continue to work without issues into the future.

Nice little type 3 USB. HD. Unfortuanatly my tv can't read the drive because it does not have a power source. The tv USB can't power it. My other tv can. Guess ill have to get another powered model.

This product was recommended to me by my uncle. This is a great solution for not having enough room on my computer for things. It's very portable, so if I need what's on it, I can just grab it and go.

Western Digital externals have always been good for me. The price was intriguing ... I bought 2. As usual, pickup at Best Buy's service desk was flawless.

For the price, it's a good drive , I use it for my PS4 and I get a lot of space for the videogames about 3.68 TB the only bad thing is the short usb cable and the proprietary connection but it's okay

Allows for a lot more space on the pc. Mine ran out of space pretty quick so it’s a good thing I’m able to put more of the data onto an external device.

Not sure if its the device im using or the software on the hard drive itself, but I wish it didnt take up quite as much space before actual use. All in all, this is an excellent device and works great.

It's easy to connect and can load a lot of data. Love how it's compact and can take it around with me.

I had no idea that a few games and DLC would soon leave me with no space on my PS4. I was looking for something that was going to give me plenty of space and this was it. It was easy to install, easy to link my PS4 to it. I leave it for my PS4 but it's nice to know I can use it to back up my computer as well. It's easy and gives me peace of mind I can continue to buy games and download updates without worry. I recommend all PS4 owners get one, you WILL end up needing it.
