For a mechanical external drive, i get great up and down transfer rates. Approx 120MB's up and down. 4TB's for the ~$70 I paid on black Friday was well worth it.

Easy install, very fast. The LED light can be annoying if you are in the dark but can be shut off.

Has crazy storage and the device itself is compact and light compared to the previous version that I had. It works very well for me when I travel and store videos, music, picture and documents to view when I travel. I have over 100 movies and 5000 high quality songs and I back up 3 computers to it and still have plenty of room left for at least another 100 movies. Great product at a great price point

This portable hard drive was in the Black Friday list of promotion by $79. This is the lowest price possible for a 4TB HD so, I am very happy with my purchase.

Works for my my PS5 games. I am able to store my games and have purchased one for my son for his games.

Having ran out of space with having only 500gb in both PS4 and Xbox I saw these portable hard drives on the deal of the day specials and after reading through the reviews I couldn't have made a better decision than to purchase 2 of hard drives to get more storage for my games.. super easy just plug in, format it and transfer and just keep it plugged it for as long as you need to save your games..

For the price, you've got to pick one up. Bought it to use with my PS4 vs having to pick up one from the game section.

I will say, I got this on Black Friday for the 79.99 deal. At that price it’s a steal and it definitely adds the extra storage I needed for my 500gb Xbox one.

I was looking to replace an old external hard drive and decided to go with this one. My old one was also WD brand and has held up well. With it being 4 TBs, it holds plenty while still being portable. It's easy to use, just plug it in and it's ready to go. I am cautious about the longevity of the drive as my old one is only 500 GB. With the wear and tear of 4 TBs, I'll have to test it and find out.
