I originally went to purchase a 3T backup , but the 4T was so reasonably priced I could not resist. I had 81 hours of video to backup and this fit the bill.

Perfect price for a ton of portable storage. Can't beat the ease of having your files available at any time.

So far, the product has worked as advertised. It is easy to use and we haven't had any issues.

Great plug & play hdd. Used it to back up photos from a Pixel 4 XL I need to send in for repair. Can't ever have too many original quality backups. 4tb seemed like a nice size for $90, and the piece of mind it afforded.

I bought my boyfriend an Xbox OneS for Christmas. He was quickly nearing the 100% full memory mark on his 256GB Xbox. I bought the WD 4 TB external hard drive for him and we haven't looked back since! It was easy to install (USB) and super easy to use! It gives us more than enough storage space and was super affordable! If you are just wanting storage for a game console, this is the one!

It works as it should. I've had Western Digital hard drives for years, internal and external. Never had problems.

It's a great item with plenty of storage for large files. I use it primarily for storing uncompressed videos and photos which take up a lot of hard drive space. My only complaint is that it's a bit thicker than 1 and 2 TB models, but I suppose that is to be expected. Great product!

Love it. Spacious with great backup utilities for cloud based systems for when you do not have Internet access!

Tons of storage and the formatting is very straight forward. Bought this for use with my Mac and it works great

4tb gives me lots of storage. On my mac I partitioned it so I would have several drives. One is a time machine backup, one is bootable drive, and others are storage from other drives. I like the size, about the size of a deck of cards. Portable, powered off the USB port. It was on sale for $70 and had a $10 reward certificate, so $69 for 4tb. Great deal

I love this little hard drive. It self powers itself through the USB slot and runs great so far. Portable hard drives have come a long way, it amazes me that they can fit 4tb into a hard drive thats slightly bigger than a wallet. Western digital hard drives have been solid for me over the last few years and its been a long time since i've had one fail. I would highly recommend this product.

Great value and portability. Needed traveling back up capability and this was right size and an incredible value.

Serves the purpose. Easy to transfer files and easy install. Few WD softwares for make things easy. Didnt check the exact transfer rates but not so slow.

Is not too big and I like how it lays flat so it can be stored sitting on the base of my Imac , right under the screen

Portable and easy to use hard drive, I'm happy with the file transfer speed. Compatible with both windows and Mac at the same time which I like the most.

This thing packs a big punch for a little package. For 4TB, it is incredibly small, the price is right. It isnt the fastest drive, but it does not have a separate power source, so that is to be expected. The only thing to be aware of is that the USB connector is unique. You can get similar ones on Amazon, etc., but just be aware that you cannot use any old USB cable.

Great product for storing data and photos also good for extra storage on ps5. Greatly recommend this product

Bought this for my grandson and he was immediately able to download all his additional data with ease.
