Purchased this for ongoing backups and long-term archiving. I had some hesitation because I'm a Mac user, but formatting was super-easy, including creation of separate segments for my business and personal data. 4 terabytes gave me double the storage I hoped for, yet stayed within my budget. Excellent value, easy operation.

I used this with my xbox one s and it worked like a charm, very easy to format and start putting games on.

I purchased this item on the recommendation of a sales associate, as I was eyeing a similar item that was costing considerably more. This was a quick set up for my Mac mini and I was able to easily partition it and format it for use to plug and play with both my Mac and Windows devices. So far, it has worked as well as advertised. A great product at a great price.

Great external Hard Drive that I use for my PS4! small and discrete, it holds all the games I want to play! Just a small FYI, if you run some big games like FF VII remake, you might wanna transfer it to the console's main HDD, because the reading from the external HDD might give you some serious lag during gameplay.

I buy a lot of hard drives for various projects, and they get tossed around a bunch. I have a bunch of this model and in various sizes as well, and I haven't had one fail yet. They do go on sale fairly often. If you're buying in store be sure to check the price on the BestBuy website, they don't always match, but they will obviously price match their own website.

This is probably the only 4TB drive you will find for this price. It is a Best Buy only product but works fine just like any other external drive.

I have many WD storage devices in use now. This will consolidate all of the old backup drives in one place.

It is easy to use. Added storage to my XBOX one. took 1 min...now I have space for ton's of games--from 20 large games to 160+ of games--in comparison to the storage I had on the 500GB HD. I haven't even scratched the surface yet. It is extremely fast. Did I mention it was on sale for $70 at the time...I should have bought 2 or 3....Amazing!
